Q. What if I have questions that aren't covered here?

Contact a chapter office or visit an official web site. This is NOT an official National Multiple Sclerosis Society web site.

You can visit the National MS Society's web site at http://www.nationalmssociety.org.
The Mid-Atlantic Chapter's site is at http://www.nationalmssociety.org/ncp/.

In NC, you can call 704-525-2555 or 800-477-2955.

In SC, you can call 803-799-7848 or 800-922-7591.

Q. What if the weather forecast for the bike tour weekend is really lousy?

Be prepared to ride rain or shine, warm or cool. Under most conditions, the tour will continue. In the event of severe weather (i.e. tornadoes or severe thunder and lightening), the National MS Society will either temporarily stop the tour by holding you at rest stops until the storm passes, or call off the tour for the day and provide bus and truck transportation to the finish line. Tour officials will be in contact with the National Weather Service. We ask for your cooperation with this policy; your safety is our number one concern.

Q. How can my family contact me in case of an emergency at home?

Emergency numbers are provided for true emergencies. Please ask your family and friends to use discretion. While the route is operational, we should be able to find a cyclist to relay emergency information. Once a cyclist reaches the Saturday or Sunday finish, riders should provide family members with their hotel/motel information.
